It seems, as now I’ll recount Saturday, that, even if I’m not sure what I’ll do when I wake up, if I stick with my current routine, I’m destined to find a win.  And I did.

I know what you’re thinking; if I stick to a routine, then I should know what I’m going to do.  And that’s partly true, and a very good point.  Yet, considering that part of my routine, which I find keeps me very functional, includes going on blog trips, my weekend days will differ with each different exploit.  And Saturday left me feeling triumphant.

What do I mean?  I’ll tell you.  Lately, I’ve been featuring a lot of Microbreweries.  If you think I’m headed towards alcoholism, I most certainly watch my alcohol intake.  If I didn’t, I probably wouldn’t be a consistent blogger.  It’s simple value assessment: a good buzz versus productivity.  Although I don’t mind good humor, I prefer to earn that feeling instead of artificially altering my brain’s chemical constitution.

What I found on Saturday was absolutely cool.  And I really mean that.  I know, most of my blogs come off as promotional bits – hardly literary works.  But, and I’ve said this before, and I know it’s hard to believe that someone is truly genuine, especially when it’s an extremely positive post, I totally mean what I post…and I’ll most definitely stand by what I write.

But, back to Saturday;  I made a journey, driving clear out of the state, well, I made it to the Michigan – Wisconsin border, and found the tiniest microbrewery tap room I have ever seen.

It was set in a quaint one-story building, and the owner was manning the taps.  The guy was absolutely cool, and, although I was an hour away from my house, I felt completely at home.  And I think that’s why I travel across this state, gallavanting from town to town.  It’s cool to find new people, fun atmosphere’s and great activities to settle into.

And this little place, with its friendly owner and patrons, certainly fits that bill.  So, after I left, I drove home, thinking of how I loved that little place.  Soon, they’ll expand, and I hope to check the remodel out.  But, until then, with vacation on the near horizon, I’ll gather new places to write about.  It should be fun.

Safe Travels!
