Describe your dream chocolate bar.

I have to honestly say, and I mean this with all my heart, when considering today’s prompt, I’ve never given this subject much thought. I mean, a chocolate bar is a chocolate bar…right?

Of course, milk chocolate differs from those dark and bitter blocks. And yeah, I’d definitely sway towards milk chocolate, but, beyond that, I really don’t care what brand is pressed in that particular confection.

If I absolutely have to answer the question, I’d go with a Hershey bar. I love how the giant bar has tinier bars pressed within it. Plus, they taste really good.

If you see my cover photo, you’d have thought I was going to go with Ghirardelli’s. The truth of the matter, and I hate to sound vindictive, but that photo was tit for tat.

“How So?” You ask. Well, you see, an ex-girlfriend, during this year’s draft, sent me a photo of a fence, and a courtyard. She claimed it was taken, and I really have no proof that it wasn’t, at this year’s draft. Of course, I happened to be watching it in my living room.

Well, since nothing was really said beyond that, and the texting went no further, during a trip to San Francisco, when I saw a factory boasting her favorite chocolate brand…well, damn, shame on me.

As I think about it, she was definitely more of a chocolate connoisseur than I. I was informed, if I really messed up, that I should buy her that brand. Well, since I had severed ties, and she apparently wanted to let me know that I wasn’t at the draft…well, yeah, I made it up to her.

Anyways, she knows who she is, and, hopefully, God willing, she gets a bit of a chuckle from this.
