If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

If I had a tagline…hmm, let me see. What would I choose? I don’t know, I’d have to define myself, and I don’t know if I could do it. But, heck, I’ll try.

I could choose something that sells me, maybe, “Chris Karas: Be fifty in a twenty-something package.’ Wait…holy pretentious, conceited and egotistical garbage. Plus, any physically fit twenty-year old would leave me in their wake.

I’ve got it, ‘Chris Karas: kick out info like Siri’ Okay, I’ll admit, I’m nowhere near encyclopedia smart, but I can answer questions more succinctly than AI. Plus, where AI rarely follows your train of thought, at least to my liking, I usually see where the conversation is heading.

Man, those suck.

Here, let me try this; ‘Chris Karas: Be the rockin’ rock that spruces up the block” Okay, that’s arcane, and really goofy. And I know you’re thinking, “What the heck?” What can I say, I like hard rocking guitar riffs, I’m pretty set in my ways and, yes, I like to do yard work.

But….those are still pretty hideous.

I’ve got it!! “Chris Karas: Work off your tail, even if it’s seemingly to no avail.” Okay, now that one might lose some of it’s meaning, unless you’ve seen me in person. I do work hard at my job, and, yeah, I probably could use a higher wage…but couldn’t we all. Other than the obvious meaning, I do a lot of cardio, but, ugh..,my butt…yeah, it’s fairly plump.

Okay, one last try; “Chris Karas: Be the little engine that will.” I’m not the biggest dude, nor am I the smartest. Yet, I’m not going to simply give up. Yeah, damn, why would I even consider hoisting the white flag? I think that’s important, working hard, respectfully interacting with others and envisioning a better life…in order to attain that better life. And, oh, just in case you’re unaware, it’s what you should do anyways.

God has built us uniquely, yet, if we work together, we meet better results. And I think that’s the basis of my final tagline. Because, yes, we’re all up against it once in a while. Dogged persistence, while abiding by the needs of others, can remedy afflictions that plague both individuals and society.
