Okay, so…it’s been a long time, and I really hate to say it, but I haven’t posted anything about my family in quite some time. With the accolades my niece has earned, this is my second, in my last three family entries, dedicated to Madeline Rose Orstad.

Maddy’s a graduate of Armstrong High School, which resides in a Minneapolis suburb. She will also be attending…

I guess that says it all!

I’m not sure why Maddy opted for the UW over the U of M, but, being from Wisconsin, and knowing the unique college vibe in Madison, I think the girl made a wise choice.

And based from what I witnessed at her party, which seemed to be a gathering of intelligent friends??…

I can’t wait for her generation’s contributions.

I started with preparations, where my sister’s yard yielded a party in waiting setting.

Fast forward to a scene of family, friends and possibly some freeloading party crashers??…

And the good humor lasted for hours…

When it was finished, I realized Madeline’s life, as she continues to strengthen and develop, starts now. Forget the blooming and budding analogies…

Man, did I just do that?

Anyways, this is like finding a trail, one right near your home. You’ve heard about the sights and terrain, but it’s now yours to explore…indefinitely. You’ll pack necessities and safety items, but you’ve been longing for this, preparing your entire life. The landscape will change drastically, but that path will also continue to lead home.

Good Luck Madeline!!
