Adventure: It frees the mind and rushes blood through veins. Security: it eases stress and soothes what worries us most. If you were to ask me which one I prefer, adventure or security, and I hate to waffle, but…I’d choose both. In this brief bit of writing, I’ll tell you why.

First off, adventure is something I absolutely crave. When asked, “What is adventure?” I’d have to answer by saying, “Anything that strays from the norm.” Whether it’s riding your bike on a different route or hiking a state park, it’s something that’s refreshing, and it also trips the mental reset trigger.

Better yet, if the adventure is truly epic, it’ll create an unforgettable moment…one you may carry for life. And collecting and possessing such instances allows a better mindset.

Secondly, security is something I also want. Knowing that, financially, I have enough to live on, well, that’s important. Keeping a roof over one’s head should never be taken for granted. And having food on the table is a blessing.

Of course living in a decent neighborhood is also important, at least as far as security is concerned. There’s also the job, where one must maintain a performance level to keep their position. Those are all areas where I desire security.

I think you understand my sentiments. So, to avoid wasting yours and my time, I’ll wrap this post up. Security…Adventure…when combined, they can provide a very healthy perspective.
