What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
This is going to be another short post, but it’s a significant one. Mainly, this piece of writing, which I feel obligated to write, is important because it punctuates a milestone. This occasion was a first time experience. Yes, first time occurrences may come at age fifty, and, when done right, and with a little luck, those moments can be simply memorable. With that said, and the match still fresh in my head, I’ll describe my debut as a Minnesota United Supporter.
I say that, because I had purchased general admission tickets, which happened to be in the supporter section.

For those that don’t know, the supporters are situated behind a goal, and it’s a raucous atmosphere. With drums pounding, we chanted songs into the crisp, cool autumn night.

The soccer players, well, considering the action on the field, they probably welcomed the chilly weather.
And to be honest, with a few layers of clothing on, I, myself, was incredibly comfortable.

Minnesota United, the team I was rooting for, is right beneath the playoff line, so the club absolutely needed to win. With their men’s backs against the wall, The Allianz Field crowd was exuberantly supportive.

When goals were scored, and they were plentiful last night, the team tallied five points, anyways, the stadium was in a frenzy.

Quite literally, the atmosphere was worth the price of admission.

The quality of play, which, I guess, should really be first and foremost, was truly professional grade.
The best part, and it happened to be before the game, was the fact that I got a photo taken with the United’s superstar striker Emanuel Reynoso.

I think he’s one of the finest…no matter what league he plays in.
Well, I promised a short post, which, by the way, is like a soccer match. All told, the game lasts about two hours, and that’s with halftime included. Of course, because Minnesota’s supporters are known as the Wonderwall, we sang that song after the team won…it was only the fourth time all season.
Yeah, it’s been a rough year. But, even with that, with a win, being that the next match is their last, the team could still make the playoffs!

Fingers crossed!
Have an Excellent Night.

P.S. If given the choice, I’d still choose Lambeau Field over an MLS stadium. Yet, a soccer match would be a close second.
