Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
Yesterday, a blustery day, I kind of sat back and relaxed. I mention this rare occurrence because, lately, that seems to contradict who I am. Even if I’m an active dude, I’ll explain why I was pleased with the previous day’s exploits. Yes, although I had lounged around, yesterday wasn’t a total loss.
I was tired, both mentally and physically. It was raining off and on, and, quite frankly, my house needed some tender loving care. So, I had reasoned, a few hours of bumming around, and, after that, a quiet afternoon spent tidying the house was appropriate.
So, despite skipping exercise , I felt I was productive. If you work for a living, I guess you could say recuperation is a productive task. With that said, today I am still lacking alacrity. It’s probably old age.
So, to answer today’s prompt, which asks the question, ‘Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive’, I’ll answer this way: because of my approach, when totally drained, I choose to be lazy. So, a day spent lounging is something I can live with. One must recharge the batteries, and ignoring that will drive one into the ground. So, I guess, lazy days, at intervals, are welcome.
Have an Excellent Day!!
