Humans have done it for thousands of years. I guess it’s fairly natural, and owning a pet is beneficial…or so they say. Today, in a very short post, I’ll tell you how I feel about furry friends.

I’m allergic to pet dander. So, instead of a dog, which I’d love to have, I own a turtle. My turtle is nearly ten years old, and he goes by the name of Odin.

I think, in my youth, owning a pet taught me responsibility. Now, even if the poor guy lives in an aquarium, I feel he’s a companion. He’s also hung around longer than any of my girlfriends. So, yeah, we’re fairly tight.

Anyways, I’m not going to delve too far into this one. A pet is good to have, because he’s a living friend. When one is lonely, it’s certainly nice to some kind of companion.
