After this post, you’ll undoubtedly call me a Wisconsinite. You see, I’ve been asked to name my favorite animal. Like a true cheesehead, and after careful consideration, I came up with this. No it’s not malarkey, anyways, this is my answer.

I love Holstein cows. They’re docile, they’re productive and they taste delicious. Don’t get me wrong, versus a pet canine, I wouldn’t get emotionally attached. Yet, when considering this state’s economy, cows are the most important animal in America’s Dairyland.

Okay, whitetail deer also drive Wisconsin’s economy, yet, deer season only lasts a little over a week. In contrast, in the land of beer and cheese, well, milking parlors never rest.

So, for my daily blog choice, I choose those large, friendly, black and white beasts.
