After you struggle, and struggle…and struggle some more, you may not be aware that you’re making progress. It’s crazy to think, but yes, if you tend to what’s yours, if you honestly try and if you go about life respectfully, when you pick up your head, and when you survey your deeds, you may find, many times, while there may have been devastating losses, you have had a positive impact in this world…whew, that sentence was extremely verbose!…and I overused the word you…even if I did, that word gets my point across.

The key is not to be content. If you simply say, “Eh, that’s good enough.” That’s allowing decay to set in. Think about it; even the most robust monument requires maintenance. I’m writing this for myself, as a reminder to keep pushing forward. Yet, even if I must prod myself, it’s also a bit of advice.

No matter what paths we choose, there will be games we have to play…whether we want to play them or not. The first challenge is accepting the challenge, and it’s realizing the obstacle will not simply remove itself. Many adversaries prey on our complacency. So, never be satisfied, and never feel guilty for having something you’ve earned. It is human to want to achieve things, it’s evil to shame those who strive for better.

Instead, inform those who seek what you seek, and tell them how you acquired them. Yes, remember, while seeking out what you desire in life, those that help will be helped, it’s an excellent rule to live by.

Have an Excellent Day!!
