Come up with a crazy business idea.

If I were to create a business, I’d come up with something off the wall…almost literally. It’d be the ultimate DIY store, and I’d make it a non profit.

Here’s my idea: a construction supply thrift shop. It’d have all sorts of donated materials. I think you know what I mean. I’d have flooring, siding, drywall, lumber…if you needed to renovate, or if you wanted to remodel, this place would have it…and it’d be cheap.

The reason why I say this, and I really mean this, my home looks like it belongs in the eighties…well, if you eliminate my cosmetic touches, my house certainly appears to be outdated.

I don’t earn a lot of money, but I’d like to show off my personal tastes. After many construction projects there are left over odds and ends. And, sometimes, those projects are so personal and unique, the leftover materials will be hard to use in another job.

If I could get my hands on premium quality materials, and they were priced insanely cheap, then I’d turn my home into a masterpiece. Such a store would not only benefit me, but if the profits went to charity, everybody wins.

So, write your taxes off construction companies, and donate unused items to my charity based store…
