Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?
One of my first memories, and it was a blissful occasion, was me, as a curious toddler, asking my dad a ton of questions. I had so many, and he answered everyone the best he could.
I was in my room, the house was very small, and my younger sister was only an infant. Mom and Dad lived across from my father’s parents. There were just so many loving souls around, and in my bedroom, looking at my race car wallpaper, my dad showered me with affection…telling me, in a series of many lessons, the realities of life.
It’s funny, as I think of it forty some years later, how that memory, a memory of discovery, persists well into my aging years. I yearn for those days sometimes…yet, the present, considering the man is still alive and kicking, is certainly acceptable…
Oh, and Mom, yes, I love you too…
Have an Excellent Day!
