Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.

Well, I’m supposed to write about my first name, and I’ve been asked to tell you what it means. So, in this brief post, a post where no research is required, wait, come to think of it, I rarely research my posts anyhow, anyways, this is about the origins of my first name.

Because it’s my name, and I’ve always accepted it as such, I really don’t ponder what people call me often. Simply put, it’s how I identify myself. So, if you ask me about its meaning, even if I know broad generalities, I’m certainly not going to wow you with little known facts.

The name ‘Christopher’ is fairly old. If I’m not mistaken, it’s derived from Latin. Its meaning is simple: born of Christ. And yes, my name is very common, at least it’s carried by many in my generation.

However, even if it is fairly common, because of its heavy implications, you may have guessed that there are things my name certainly suggests. Needless to say, I was raised with a Christian upbringing. As a matter of fact, I should be attending church right now…sorry God.

Anyways, that’s the name I was given, and, although I tend to avoid thinking of it, it slightly indicates my personality type.

Have an Excellent Day!!
