In this day and age, transportation options are limitless. Right off the top of my head, oh, I was also spoon fed these choices, anyways, I can think of four travel modes: automobiles, planes, trains and bikes.
If I were given a choice, and if I had the time, and if I were to travel across this country, I’m not sure which transportation mode I’d choose. In this short post, I’ll think about this travel subject.
First of all, I do like a good road trip. The freedom of an automobile cannot be rivaled. Simply put, you can stop whenever you want.
Yet, sometimes, when I have to attend an event, I just want to reach the destination. So, yes, airplanes can satiate that quick trip fix.
Yet, with airplanes, I really fear being in a crash. And, even if I know trains can wreck, I’d feel more secure using high speed rail. Along with that, I think trains might be cheaper.
So, in the end, if I had access to high speed rail, I’d choose a train ride. Yes, cross country in a rail car would be an excellent adventure.
Oh, I know bikes were a choice, and I do love my Bicycle, but I prefer off road trails…and I’d need two years.
