I’m strolling on a sunny day
I accept it in a funny way
Daily toils loom in the afternoon
I know I’ll have to perform them soon
The warm sun is so persuasive
Languid thoughts become invasive
My morals force me to my tasks
While the carefree lazily basks
Plodding on with familiar purpose
Other humans are at my service
Determination to do my best
Hoping it’s likewise with the rest
