It’s such a calm and peaceful day, and I’m enjoying the sunshine. As I stroll a residential area, the chatter of birds fills the air. Okay, I kind of lied, once in a while, because I live in a fairly populated area, the occasional motorist drowns out those peaceful chirps.

If you’re wondering, because this post is rather rambling, I really have nothing to write about. And as I’ve mentioned my blogging efforts, and my lack of subject matter, besides this short bit, I’m working on an MLS weekend recap piece. However, before I can finish it, I need to watch a few more games. After I do, I’ll share my thoughts on those matches.

And as I think of that unfinished post,I guess I could watch a soccer competition now, but, damn, it’s beautiful outside. So, I’ll walk a bit, and then I’ll catch Portland versus SKC.

It’s funny, so far, of the matches I’ve watched, the teams with the absolutely worst records, that is of the many MLS teams I’ll actually check out, anyways, those lowly teams put on the best show. It was actually a blast to see.

All that said, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and a soft wind is blowing. I think I’ll enjoy the morning. Work looms in the afternoon, but with my proper preparation, I’ll knock Walmart’s customers’ socks off…oh, and I’ll definitely help the team reach its goal!
