Last night, because the weather simply begged for outdoor recreation, I only indulged in one full soccer broadcast. That match happened to be Minnesota United taking on the Colorado Rapids. As I think back, this match was full of twists and turns, yet, in the end, I think both sides took some satisfaction in the end result.

Colorado is a much better team than I had thought, and that fact resonated throughout last night’s match. The first half was full of goals. The Rapids scored first, but MNUFC responded with three unanswered tallies. The second half saw the Rapids rise to the challenge, and the match ended in a tie.

I should mention that both sides had a player who scored twice. Minnesota’s Jeong Sang Bin had two first half net finders, while Colorado’s Kevin Cabral had two of his own.

In the end, this match was a delight to watch, and, because it was, I hope others check out the MLS. Get some friends together, and have a little television viewing fun.

Entertainment is the Goal!
