This Wednesday’s MLS games should be worth watching, and I’m dying to see them. But before I start hyping those evening broadcasts, I have a small confession…yes, Discaimer: I will work tonight, so no, I won’t see a single goal, header, set piece, save…well, you get it, I won’t see any of it live. Yet, since I have the MLS Season Pass, I can watch the game replays. And…since I will be watching soccer, I’ll write about the most interesting matchups.
First off, recently, Minnesota United took on FC Dallas; that match ended in a tie. Tonight, that game will be revisited, yet, this time, the Loons will have a different lineup, and that sporting event will take place in Texas. Minnesota is coming off a road loss, so they’ll be looking for a bit of redemption.
Next up, and what usually features a large sample of soccer talent, Inter Miami will take on the Columbus Crew. Even if Messi is tasked with international duty…yeah, this match should be one of tonight’s best!
Finally, I’ll finish with a West Coast match. New York City will travel cross country to face the LA Galaxy. This game, a matchup of elites, will be well worth your time. Both teams are doing well, and the LA crowd should be buzzing. If you don’t mind staying up late, this will be the perfect ending to your night.
I know, I didn’t go extremely in depth, and I only picked three soccer matches from a bevy of potential MLS entertainment showcases. Yet, I hardly see any of these games letting soccer fans down.
Entertainment is the Goal!
