Okay, later on, a full slate of MLS matches will take place. A few of them, okay, more than a few of them, anyways…I’m going to enjoy a night of soccer. As I dream of those fun displays of athleticism, I know the teams I’m dying to see will definitely keep me entertained. If you need further explanation, and if you want to know what to watch, the paragraphs below are telling of my night’s television viewing activities.

First of all…okay, wait, hold on, I should start with this; if you want to prime yourself for the MLS matchups, and if you want to watch premium talent, then you could check out Copa America and the UEFA European Championship tournaments. Literally, starting at eight this morning, you could watch great soccer till the midnight hour, and every broadcast would be live.

However, in the MLS, and starting at six thirty, Columbus will take on Sporting Kansas City. Despite many players engaging in international competition, and players representing their home nations, the talent on the field will be awesome. Sporting Kansas City has been struggling, but they’re still fun to watch. Columbus, on the other hand, is one of the best teams the league has to offer. Yet, even if you’d believe Columbus is the hands down favorite, Kansas City just may surprise the Columbus faithful.

Tonight, the weather in Columbus should be perfect for soccer.

Next up, in the Twin Cities, Minnesota United tries to shake off a drubbing administered by Dallas, and they’ll be missing their star goalie Dayne St. Claire. Austin FC, on the other hand, are a lively bunch, and they’ll create tons of problems for the Loons. It’ll rain in the Twin Cities today, but the precipitation should yield by game time.

Lastly, in a Western Conference showdown, Real Salt Lake will take on the LA Galaxy. While the Galaxy will be minus a few players, they should still be up for conference leading Salt Lake. I haven’t watched many Salt Lake games, but I’m hoping for end to end action. Utah’s Saturday night weather should be perfect for soccer.

As you can guess, besides the few matches I’ve mentioned, all over the world there is plenty more soccer action happening today. Right now, where I’m living, it’s raining. So, being that I’m shut in, I’ll enjoy a day of soccer.

Entertainment is the Goal!
