When someone speaks up, especially when no one else does, that takes courage. When reading others’ blogs, I enjoy an outspoken voice. Because of that, and because I’ve been asked what spurs my admiration, in this post, I’ll further explain my thoughts.

Since I began blogging, I’ve read blogs from people who are searching for something to say, but I’ve also read ones that seem genuine. when I do, I can feel it…even if I don’t agree with the writer.

I hate it when I listen to people rant about others’ political views, even if, admittedly, in my younger years, I may have fallen into that trap. Ardently digging your heels in, and not listening solves nothing. And really, in this day and age, it’s becoming more difficult to speak your mind, at least being able to speak your mind without adhering to someone else’s agenda is tough.

So, yeah, speaking your mind is scary, and I appreciate those who do.
