Right now, at this rather busy moment, I’m toiling away at my job. Yet, later on, when my workday is finished, I’m going to watch the last minutes of a soccer match. That match will feature my favorite team, Minnesota United, and a very formidable MLS force, the LA Galaxy. In this short post, while I ponder that interesting matchup, I’ll lend a few thoughts.
Here’s What I think…
Early in the season, the LA Galaxy appeared to be an offensive juggernaut. Right now, while they don’t possess their early momentum, these rather pricey players are still very daunting…Joseph Paintsil is certainly worth an LA fan’s admission fee.
On the other hand, Minnesota United has been struggling. Yet, when I watch this team play, I know, as do their fans, that this team is far better than their five game losing streak. I don’t know what the Loons starting line up will be, and, if I’m to reference the last several matches, neither does anyone else. Yet, whatever eleven men step on the Los Angeles pitch, I’m sure the game will be entertaining.
