Tomorrow, after its all stars were decimated by the Liga MX’s all stars, the MLS, and its many teams, will take on the Mexican top flight franchises. Right now, as it sits, both leagues are on the cusp of cracking the world’s top ten. This upcoming tournament, the Leagues Cup, might indicate which league is the best organization in North America.

With that, Minnesota United will try to prove they’re the best team on the continent, and they’ll do it against North America’s best…

…I know, that was a lot of hype.

In all reality, since there are other tourneys that guage North America’s best, it will be interesting to see a full strength Loons side. They’ll be taking on tough opponents. They’ll be recovering from a horrible downward slide. They’ll be trying to please the Twins Cities faithful.

Actually, when you look at MNUFC’s group, they might have an excellent chance to advance. Even if that doesn’t happen, in all likelihood, it should be fun to witness MNUFC take on the Liga MX’s Necaxa.

However, tomorrow, after all that Liga MX versus the MLS hype, they’ll have to start off against a familiar foe. The Seattle Sounders are having a tough year. But, in this tournament, Seattle can start anew, and they can bid for a place in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. That will happen against Minnesota United.

I’m really looking forward to the show!
