I’m pretty disappointed. Last night, I patiently, and excruciatingly, waited for an item until sundown. Yes, most of that beautiful day, I sat on my sunporch…like a sleepless child on Christmas Eve. Yet, instead of a red clad elf in a sleigh, I was anticipating a Fed Ex van.

It never showed…and it won’t today.

My updated delivery status indicates that my package is in Chicago. I almost feel like calling into work, packing a meal and trekking towards the Windy City. However, and hopefully, by the time I arrive, my desired item would be passing in the opposite direction.

Anyways, like yesterday, tomorrow might be a waiting game. I hope it arrives…
