Back to the Beat

Lately, about a week ago, I received a musical instrument. So, being that I’ve been interested in playing several songs, I’m relearning the basics, and I’m slowly applying unforgettable skills.

So far, if I wanted to play in front of people, and if I found a group of musicians, I’d be comfortable with only one song…ughh…it’s basic…and it took some time. Yes, my kick drum has a mind of its own, and sometimes my ears don’t pick up the intricacies of certain musical phrase. That being said, repetition will train my right foot, and sheet music will spell out a broken rhythm segment. That’s those are the most important parts of any skill…practice and hard work.

Anyways, I have to work now.
