So far, this Labor Day Weekend wasn’t a waste. Yesterday, I hiked with my sister and her children, and we enjoyed the adrenaline spurred by a few dangerous climbs.

After the hike, I sought shelter from the heat, enjoyed my house’s AC and spent the day playing the drums. I literally drove myself nuts trying to play a rather simple beat, and, after failing for an hour, I picked other songs. I actually learned one tune in forty-five minutes. Yet, because perfection requires repetition, I’ll play through the song many more times.

Anyways, after playing the drums till nine o’clock, I enjoyed a little sports entertainment… MLS soccer to be exact. My chosen match pitted MNUFC against a Western Conference rival. Minnesota United conquered the struggling San Jose Earthquakes. Shortly after that fun match, I called it a night.

This morning, I went mountain biking, and I stirred a runner’s high. Now, I’m at work. My tasks are burdensome to say the least. Nevertheless, I’m very stubbornly earning a paycheck, and I’m helping the economy. So, Labor Day…Let’s celebrate!! Here’s to the American worker!!
