My last few posts were about dietary health, and I think that’s important. However, there are other things that will improve your well being. Yes, staying active, in some shape, manner or form, will help you as well.

Wait!! Am I a dietician?…no, I’m not.

Am I a physical therapist?…not even close.

Am I psychologist?…not in a million years.

I know what you’re thinking. “Why should I heed your advice?”

My answer is easy. It’s worked for me, I don’t practice unhealthy methods, and, actually, if you’re dedicated, my strategy is fairly simple.

Just do this: Research! Now days, it’s the easiest thing in the world.

With your diet, research is key, and physical workouts are just as easy. If you’re flat broke, and you want to lose weight, find some running shoes, and just start running…or walking. You don’t need to pay for some complicated plan; many simple activities burn calories.

In addition, If you’d like to build muscle, determine what areas you’d like to build, and Google exercises that will help you. Instead of spending money on a gym membership, buy a few weights. Seriously, weights at Walmart are affordable, and, even if you pay more upfront, eventually, since barbells last forever, you’ll end up saving money.

What’s more, if you pick affordable exercises, and you don’t hang out at the gym, you’ll save a ton of time.

Think about it. Instead of someone packing a bag, driving to the gym and changing in the locker room, they could just throw on some clothes, walk through the front door and begin a walk, run or jog.

If you’re into weight workouts, pick the most spacious spot in your house, choose some hard rock music and let the sweat roll. I actually do that during the winter months…oh, yes, I actually run during winter also.

I think that’s key too. In winter, a little fresh air will serve you well…I know what you’re thinking; yes, if it’s negative twenty degrees outside, then, yeah, stay indoors. Yet, if you dress in compression gear, and if you wear a head garment and gloves, temperatures in the high teens and twenties are bearable. Warning: you’ll doubt my words the first five minutes, but, if you continue, that run will be that day’s most invigorating part. After your run, and after you step into your abode, you’ll feel like a teenager, and you’ll feel like your crush just agreed to take you to the prom…alright, that’s a little overboard…but it feels terrific.

So, that’s my over all statement…speaking about my overall health. My next post will delve into my own personal well being journey. I’ll also state what I had failed to realize. Today, I understand my self a little better, and, when you understand how you work, you can apply it to your health daily, and you can pass along your discoveries.

Have an Excellent Day!
