I’m thinking about life, yeah, yeah, I guess everybody does, yet, today, I’m wondering if it has to be this way. I also wonder if the world will ever be one.

I’m trying to say this: I crave to be color blind. Others, well, they really tick me off, and if you call them out on their B.S, well… they’ll take your words out of context, and they’ll try to defend themselves, and because they crave to appear like better individuals, they’ll use the ‘I know you are, but what am I?’ tactics. It actually makes me angry.

Really, when you mention race, just about any statement could be a bombshell…it’s a tightrope. Yet, some statements are purely racially biased words, and they’re ultimately driven by fear. While there might be a bit of truth in their words, exaggerations and spiteful phrases spur irrationality and violent actions.

Some don’t seem to realize the weight of those statements, and they don’t know how others might react to those jabs. I think that’s where conversations help. However, many don’t want to engage in those conversations.

Anyways, I guess that was a rant. But, I’m finished, and for the rest of my Friday workday, I’ll calm down and relax a bit.
