Maybe it’s the ham

Yes, I didn’t have turkey

But I love my clan

Because they can endure me

The foot ball game was fun

As we reacted to the action

And our team had won

So there’s an air of satisfaction

Mom made tons of deserts

Including pumpkin pie

Enough food to make me burst

Yet some was only eyed

The family was warm

And we chatted like friends

We feared no harm

And no need to pretend

I had recently cut my hair

That was a fairly short topic

But I guess it means they care

And were glad I had lopped it

Now I’m at my home

Remembering friendly faces

No need to go and roam

My house contains friendly spaces
