How do you plan your goals?

Planning goals…grrr! It seems every time I do, something stands in my way. Yet, I don’t give up, because that’s what keeps me going. Yes, that desire for accomplishment, an ultimately human trait, is deeply seated within me. So, today, I’ll tell you how I plan for my goals.

First, if it’s work related, that is when setting a goal, I assess the labor involved. Then, after I realize what I must tackle, I decide what skills I’ll need. After I know what abilities I should hone, I find ways to refine those qualities.

After that, I think I need to focus on organization. There must be an allotted time to work towards that goal. If it’s today’s goal, I’ll organize my tasks…with an emphasis on efficiency. If it’s a long term goal, it will involve setting time aside daily…constantly trying to gain traction.

Of course, health goals are much the same. Basically, setting time aside, when it comes to exercise, is a necessity. Education is another part of any goal, and nutritional facts, with my diet in mind, are important. So, understanding what I can afford, what cravings are unavoidable and what foods I can tolerate is key.

Besides work and health goals, there’s financial management. Some call these plans strategies, and, I guess, they are. My strategy, when I look at what I make, and what I can afford, very much relies on creativity. Not only that, it involves actively searching the best deals, investment groups and payment options.

Anyways, those are some ways I work towards goals. I’m sure, after I publish this post, other strategies will hit me. Eh, but I think I’ve told you enough about myself. So…

Have an Excellent Day!!
