Why do you blog?
Today’s topic, which, maybe…well, okay, I know I’ve written about this before. Yet, I’m going to let those who read this, and I appreciate those who do, anyways, today, I’m going to provide reasons why I blog. This short post will illustrate why I’m motivated to write.
First off, when I first created my blog, I hoped to gain a little cash. I mean, I believed I could write, and yeah, I needed improvement. Yet, I believed if I visited Wisconsin businesses, and provided information, people might be interested. I know what many thought, when one isn’t an authority on a subject, who cares what that person thinks?
But, really, I figured I could drum up some traffic, by creating interest, for area small businesses and institutions. So, I did it for years.
Lately, for monetary reasons, and a few other small factors, I’ve decided to just write about anything. I’ve developed a voice, and maybe, if I stay true to what I do, people will share my interests. Plus, I believe I have something to say, and maybe, just maybe, I can help somebody out.
Will I make money?
Well, by writing about random bits of life, it’s doubtful that I’d earn any income. But, I’m putting my writing out there. And if I come across a content writing job, I have hundreds of samples. So, if they need a demonstration…here it is. Come to think of it, I should trash some of my earliest efforts.
Anyways, those are my biggest reasons for writing. There are others, such as reaching other people, but, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’d like to, someday, earn a little cash…I know, I’m horrible!
