What’s your all-time favorite album?

Today was my 50th birthday…so I had a miniature celebration. Basically it was a day spent eating, apple picking and lounging. What’s more, in a very suitable cornfield oasis, I discovered a rustic spot. It was a day of family, and the Denn Corn Maze was the exclamation mark on this particular family get together.

I’ll start off with one singular fact, or maybe, just maybe, I’m highlighting it, because I’ve already mentioned that it was a family get together…but did I mention the place was rustic?

I did? Well, here’s a second pic. With this retro agrarian vibe, these photos just illustrate the tone for this lax, but ultra fun, place.

The maze was fun for everyone. With the twists and turns,

plus trivia and games set at eleven forks in the path,

our walk was peaceful and entertaining.

When we were finished,

we kicked back and relaxed.

I should make a brief mention, and we could have spent an entire day here, that Denn is much more than a corn maze. A store built from containers, Denn offers shopping, refreshments, and an escape room…so, yeah, there are a lot of activities to engage in…including a playground for young children.

I confess, I didn’t pay for the maze, so I couldn’t tell you the price. However, I do know the location. Denn is located right on CTY DK, and it’s just south of the Southern Door School.

So, as my celebration came to a close, I can honestly say, yes, I’ve been dying to try a corn maze for decades, and I was able to cross off a bucket list item…

Have an Excellent Day!!
