In this day and age, sports entertainment is everywhere, and athletic competition takes on so many forms. Yet, here in the United States, few leagues, if any, are more popular than the NFL. With that said, since it was Veterans Day, and many spots offered active and ex-military members great deals, I experienced the Packers Hall of Fame…and it was free. I’ll write a brief post on my little adventure.

The minute you walk past the ticket counter, you realize that the Green Bay Packers are no ordinary group of individuals.

And, in this small museum, some, not all, but some of the most notable happenings are highlighted.

There are plenty of eras to draw upon.

Plus, if you need evidence of this team’s storied past, you wouldn’t have to peer further than the equipment used in earlier games.

Also, as the museum highlights all thirteen championships, there is a collection of memorabilia illustrating those triumphs.

Not only that, but, being a very lengthy tradition, this spot enshrines the city’s favorite players.

It also pays homage to those who’ve won NFL Hall of Fame honors.

After you’ve been absorbed in legends of grid iron grit, with tangible proclamations of this team’s tradition and lore, you’ll find a treasure trove at the end of this journey.

And as I think back, and, no, I don’t have a decent photo, but this place also houses fun interactive exhibits. In addition to those entertaining digital games, you’ll find videos recalling some of the Packers’ more memorable moments.
When I left, I recalled my childhood. Back then, the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, as it’s now inside the Lambeau Field Atrium, resided in its own building.
This statue,

which now sits near the old Chicago and North Western train depot(the celebration spot of the Packers’ first championship), once towered outside the museum’s doors. So you must understand, as I hope I’ve illustrated it, that this unique bit of Green Bay culture has always fascinated me, and I thank the Packers for allowing all veterans access today. It’s certainly appreciated.
Have an Excellent Day!!
