When I think back, there are a few items that bring back good memories. Today, in my post, I’ll list a few nostalgia inciters.

I’ll start with this, and this goes without saying, clothes from yesteryear spark a few strong emotions. I ruefully remember fighting with my parents, especially in the Kmart apparel section. I wanted nothing from that retailer; I wanted to be cool. And my parents, for good reason, wanted to spend that money on other things…not cool clothes..

So, now, when I see an Ocean Pacific shirt, I remember the pride, and how hard I fought, while purchasing that tee. I always thought the girls would admire my clothes, and I’d fit in with the rest of the guys.

Today, although, I’ll admit, I want to look decent, I am not very picky about my clothing. In fact, all of my 2023 clothing choices came from thrift stores. Even if that’s the case, I do remember the clothes I wore during my teen years.
