Do you need a break? From what?

Right now, as I write this, and you may laugh, but it’s no joking matter…anyways, I need a break from high retail prices. In this brief post, I’ll further explain my frustrated thoughts.

In life, one is inclined to possess many hopes, many plans and many aspirations. Yes, with that, in order to reach many of our lofty goals, and it’s a rather ugly truth…we need money.

But hold on, before we can do whatever our heart desires…damn, we must ensure we have enough to simply live on. If we only earn enough for sustenance, well, our hopes will not be realized.

So, in order to live better, I need to manage my finances. What really gets me, and it happens all the time, when I contrive an excellent financial strategy, that’s when costs go up…and I’m left treading water.

So, yeah , please, I’m not even asking retailers to lower their prices, just, when you realize I’m buying a certain product more often, don’t charge two dollars more for said item! 😡 Grrr!

I work for Walmart, and I really love our slogan. When considering what type of retailer we are, it makes sense, and it’s the truth: ‘Save Money-Live Better’. Really, if I were to have children, and I if wanted to to teach them the truths of life, and if I wanted to make it plain and simple, I’d choose those exact words.

So, world, big business, small business, heck, governmental bodies, stop upping fees and prices!
